I was the Master Carpenter for this production and built this set with a handful of rotating and inexperienced students. It includes a turntable on the downstage platform where the bookshelf is.

These crates are made to be the height of a seat but stacked to simulate a table. They are made from plywood for stability and sanded down luan strips for texture.

This trunk is made to be a sitting surface in a show that takes place on a boat. It is made from plywood to be as sturdy as possible. It was then faced in luan that has been slotted to look like planks. Decorative boards were then placed on top.

This bed was constructed to be very sturdy, small, easy to move, and customizable. Fireside uses many differrent beds, so the headboard can be removed, replaced, or repainted. I did the carpentry, upholtery, and painting on these two beds.

This toy chest is constructed and painted by me. It is made of half inch plywood to be light but sturdy. It can be sat on or jumped on, but can be lifted by one person. It also opens and can hold most toys.

This cart was made to support the weight of two grown adults that fall onto it in the scene. I constructed and painted this piece and the ice that sits on top.

These platforms were created to protect the floor from excessive tap dancing that could lead to indentations. The top, bottom, and insides are made from plywood while the outsides are created with flexible foam to keep the platforms light.

This "body" matched the measurements of the actress playing the ghost standing next to the body while it was "autopsied". There was a cavity in the chest where a heart and liver were pulled from.

This template was created after much trial and error on different types of productions. Now, I use this for every production, from close, intimate straight plays to complex operas.
Set Dressing Paperwork
This template has been developed over the course of the last couple of years, and I now use it in every show with set dressing. I found that it is more helpful to seperate out set dressing and hand props, as they require different kinds of information.
Budget Paper Work
This template is what I use to organize my budget in different theater companies. I have used this on shows with very tight budgets as well as shows with no budget limit at all. It helps me keep track of not only what I expect to spend but also how much is left!

This orb and scepter were created for a coronation scene. They were made from a plastic ball/wooden dowel with gems and adornment epoxied on. The pillow was also custom-made to hold these items.

This shrub hid a fan inside that made it look like snow was magically coming out of Elsa's hand. The base of the shrub was purchased with the greenery built on top and more flowers added to hide the fan.
